Materials Delivered Directly to Your Project
Whether you are refreshing a flower bed, building a driveway, installing a patio, or preparing for a larger landscape project, Eddington Materials makes getting the materials you need a little easier.
We provide dependable local delivery for homeowners, contractors, landscapers, and property managers throughout Amelia, Batavia, and surrounding communities.

Bulk Material Delivery
Our dump trucks can accommodate:
- Up to 14 cubic yards of mulch
- Up to 5 tons of stone, gravel, soil, sand, or other bulk material
Truck capacity is determined by both the weight and volume of the material. Some products or larger orders may require multiple deliveries.
Bulk materials available for delivery may include:
- Black and brown mulch
- Topsoil
- Limestone gravel
- Creek rock
- Washed stone
- Sand
- Pine straw
- Straw bales
- Seasonal materials
Not sure how much material you need? Our team can help you estimate the appropriate quantity based on your project measurements.
Palletized Material Delivery
In addition to loose bulk materials, Eddington Materials can deliver palletized products directly to your home, jobsite, or commercial property.

Our pallet delivery capacity includes:
- Up to 6 pallets per delivery
- Up to 11,000 pounds total
- Delivery using a towable lift for convenient unloading and placement
Palletized delivery is available for qualifying products such as:
- Pavers
- Retaining wall block
- Natural stone
- Landscape stone
- Bagged materials
- Other palletized hardscape products
The maximum number of pallets will depend on the weight, dimensions, and type of products being delivered. The truck may reach its maximum weight capacity before reaching the six-pallet limit.
Orders exceeding six pallets or 11,000 pounds may be divided into multiple deliveries. Additional delivery charges may apply.
Towable Lift Delivery
Our towable lift allows our driver to unload palletized materials from the delivery truck and place them in an accessible, approved location on the property.
This provides more flexibility than standard curbside unloading and may allow materials to be placed closer to your project area.
The requested delivery location must be:
- Firm, level, and able to support the weight of the equipment and materials
- Free from low branches, overhead wires, vehicles, and other obstructions
- Wide enough for the equipment to safely enter, maneuver, and exit
- Clear of septic systems, irrigation components, soft lawns, and underground hazards
Final pallet placement is determined by the driver based on safety, ground conditions, equipment access, and the risk of damage to the property, equipment, or materials.
Drivers may decline any requested placement area that cannot be safely accessed.
Please notify our team in advance of:
- Narrow entrances or gates
- Steep hills or grades
- Soft or recently disturbed ground
- Limited maneuvering space
- Overhead obstructions
- Underground utilities, septic systems, or irrigation components
- Any other jobsite conditions that could affect delivery
Delivery Area and Pricing
Local delivery typically starts at $75 for bulk materials and $115 for palletized materials.
Additional charges may apply based on:
- Delivery distance
- Material type
- Order weight or volume
- Equipment requirements
- Number of loads needed
- Jobsite access or placement requirements
Amelia, Batavia, and many surrounding communities are generally within our local delivery range. Extended delivery may also be available to other nearby areas.
Provide your delivery address or ZIP code when ordering so our team can calculate an accurate delivery fee.
Scheduling Your Delivery
To schedule a delivery, we will need:
- The material and quantity you would like
- Your delivery address
- A reliable phone number
- Your preferred delivery date
- Instructions for where the material should be unloaded
- Information about gates, narrow driveways, overhead wires, soft ground, hills, or other access concerns
Delivery dates and arrival windows are scheduled based on:
- Truck and equipment availability
- Material availability
- Weather conditions
- Existing delivery routes
- Jobsite accessibility
Scheduling ahead provides the best selection of available delivery dates.
Preparing for Delivery
Please make sure the delivery location is clearly marked and accessible before our driver arrives.
Our trucks and equipment require enough room to safely enter, unload, maneuver, and exit the property.
Loose bulk materials cannot be dumped beneath power lines, tree limbs, or other overhead obstructions. The customer is responsible for confirming that the selected unloading area can support the weight of a loaded delivery truck.
Drivers may decline a requested dumping or pallet placement location if it could cause damage to:
- The delivery truck or lift
- Driveways or paved surfaces
- Lawns or landscaping
- Underground utilities
- Septic systems
- Irrigation systems
- Buildings or surrounding property
Final placement is always at the driver’s discretion.
Mixed Loads
Some materials may be transported together when space, weight, and product requirements allow.
However, loose materials placed within the same truck may mix during transportation or unloading. Separate deliveries may be required when materials must remain completely separated.
Palletized and loose bulk materials may also require separate trucks or delivery appointments depending on the order.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you deliver more than 14 yards of mulch or 5 tons of stone?
Yes. Larger quantities can usually be delivered in multiple loads. Each load may be subject to a separate delivery fee.
Can you deliver more than six pallets?
Yes. Orders exceeding six pallets or 11,000 pounds may be divided into multiple deliveries.
Do I need to be home during delivery?
Not always. If payment has been arranged and the unloading location is clearly marked and accessible, we may be able to complete the delivery without you being present.
For palletized deliveries or properties with complicated access, having someone available may be recommended.
Can the driver spread the material?
Loose bulk materials are delivered in a single pile. Spreading, installation, and project labor are not included with standard delivery.
Can the towable lift drive across my yard?
Only when the driver determines that the ground is firm, level, accessible, and safe for the equipment.
The driver may refuse to cross soft lawns, steep grades, septic areas, irrigation systems, or any surface that may be damaged.
Can materials be placed in my backyard?
Possibly, provided the truck or towable lift can safely access the requested location without risking damage to the equipment, materials, or property.
Final placement is determined by the driver.
Do you offer same-day delivery?
Same-day delivery may occasionally be available, but it is not guaranteed. Scheduling ahead is recommended.
Pickup Is Also Available
